Drum Machine

I fear this.

This is an incredibly touching peek into the life of a man and his elderly father told through photographs and, to a lesser extent, text. I find it poignant and sweet but also slightly scary. My sole surviving grandparent, my maternal grandmother, had two heart attacks the day after Christmas this year, and to watch her struggle through rehabilitation afterwards is reminiscent of watching the mental and physical deterioration of both my paternal grandparents. At the same time, my parents joke that eventually I’ll have to take care of them in the same manner, and that is incredibly depressing.
